Don’t build past faith’s transition

If you build beyond the transition point of faith you are not building on a solid foundation. In other words you have shifted your building away from the foundation that is Christ. Let me give you an example as I begin to talk about this. When you construct a house and start with the foundation – you have to wait from the blocks and concrete to dry before you place the studs for the walls. The significance in this is time. Because we are on earth we are governed by time, but in God there is no time, as the Bible teaches to Him 1 day is as a 1000 years and a 1000 years is as a day. That means that faith is not in time. Hebrews 11:1 teaches us that faith is NOW.

Let me give some more foundation here. Before you can take the next step of building you have to be sure what you placed previously is solid. We learn from Psalms that similar to building a building, in life we are taking steps. Us taking steps means that we have a direction and that we have a destination. Each step can be looked at as a transition. Our steps are ordered by God and we take them by the leading of the Holy Spirit. What that means is that we don’t make a step unless directed by God. What usually happens is that we take a step by faith. God knows what the next step is going to be and He places us in a position to grow our faith so that we will be able to take the next step. The challenge here is taking steps apart from the leading of the Holy Spirit. As long as God is leading the steps you are building on the foundation that is Christ but as soon as you start to step apart from the leading of the Holy Spirit, you are building on a shaky foundation that will not stand when the winds and the rains come.

Remember that God is a detailed God, who will give you a step by step course of action if you trust Him. Have you gotten off of the foundation? Let us help you get back on course! Contact the ministry at stwteachingministry.com
