God has given every man the measure of faith. We are supposed to grow our measure of faith with the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word. We learn from Ephesians 3:20 that we are supposed to think about things and we are supposed to ask God for things. Those things aren’t always tangible things like cars and houses. They can be things like wisdom and guidance. What are you thinking about and what are your asking God for?  The fact that you are thinking means that you are developing your ability. God has given you ability. He has called you for a purpose for the Kingdom of God and it is through His wisdom and divine work alive in you that you accomplish His purpose for your life. Maximizing your ability requires faith. Remember that our verse talks about God being able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think. That means that there has to be a foundation from which he does exceeding abundantly. Recognizing that there is a foundation is recognizing that there is ability in you.  There is ability in you and faith to grow that ability.

Ability doesn’t grow by going to church and sitting on a bunch of committees and doing a bunch of church work. Ability grows as you grow your faith in the Word of God. God knows that you have potential and ability and He knows this because He was the one who authored it in you. He wants to see that ability maximized and he wants you to know that maximizing it has to do with His power working in you, and it is not just from your own ability.  Stop by our website and say hello. We would like to hear from you!
