God had good for you in 2015. I hope that you experienced all of the good that He had for you. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God’s handiwork created to do good works. Everything in God is good and His intent for us is good and not evil. We know this from Jeremiah 29:11.
Even if you feel like your 2015 was not good and not what you expected, realize that your great in 2016 is directly related to how well you know Jesus. What that means is that your growth and knowledge of Jesus should continue on into 2016 and always be increasing. In other words, you should be closer to God – getting more wisdom, revelation – in closer fellowship with God in 2016 than you were in 2015. The danger for the Christian is to not be growing in Christ. You should have more wisdom for the challenges of life in 2016 than you did in 2015!
You shouldn’t be falling for the same traps of the devil in 2016 that you got caught up in back in 2015. If you are that means you have not grown in God. That means that you have not spent enough time in the scriptures knowing Him more and more and more and more . . . gaining more insight, more patience, growing in faith. You will never exhaust God. There is always more. Don’t let your 2016 be a dry year. Don’t let it be a year of the same old thing. Grow in God and watch Him perform wonders through you during 2016!
