God has an expected end for you. We understand this from Jeremiah 29:11. An expected end means that He expects you to reach that end of your life here on earth, in Him. That means that He is the one who gives life and He can help you work to your ability here on earth. You have probably heard people talk about death and say words like “leave it on the field” or “die empty”. Those phrases mean that you don’t go to be with God until you have achieved the fulness of what He called you to do, you know that you have achieved it, and you are ready to transition to your life with Christ.

The challenge here is that may times people don’t realize that God has expectations of you. Those expectations come from a place of good and not evil. That lets you know that the expectations come from God. There is more to life than the daily routines we follow where we get up in the morning, go to work, come home, have dinner and do needed chores, go to bed and then get up and do the same thing the next morning. God has created you with purpose for a purpose and that purpose is in Him. That’s why you must have a relationship with God to discover who it is that God called you to be.

Renew your mind to the Word of God here. Yes, God called YOU for a purpose and to a work for the Kingdom of God and YES the calling is good and He expects you to fulfill your calling. When you get to heaven He is going to ask you what you did with the ability that He put in you. It reminds me of the story in Matthew 25:14-30 that talks about the talents that were given. A lesson from the story is that if God gives you 5 ability He expects a 5 production. Anything less that than is not living up to the potential that He put into you. Teacher ability demands teacher production. Banker ability demands Banker production. Pastor ability demands Pastor production. Walk in the fullness of who God called you to be and reach that expected end in God that he called you to reach before you die and go heaven.
