Going through

So many times we want the answer right away. We don’t want to wait on God. We don’t want to be patient. We have to understand that there is no timing in God the way we view timing. In God  1 day is as 1000 years. This is referenced in Psalm 90:4 as well as 2 Peter 3:8. Think about these verses of scripture. What God is trying to get you to see is that He can never be late, He can never get lost, He can never forget to do a thing. God knows the end from the beginning, and He knows who He called you to be and what He called you to do. So, if you are going through and you are in God, you have to realize that He is going to take you to a well watered, well supplied place. It has to be that way because it is in Christ. Think about Psalm 23. It teaches that we will walk through the valley of the shadow of death but we are to fear no evil. I want you to see here that you will walk through the valley. It didn’t say that you will die in the valley or that you won’t make it through . . . but you will walk through, you just have to trust God and keep the faith. If you shrink back you have gotten out of God and given place to the enemy.  And then God says He will never leave you nor forsake you. It’s ok to go through in God. When you read the last few verses of Psalm 23 the writer says that goodness and mercy shall follow him all the days of his life and he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Go through in God with a smile on your face because you know that in Christ you have everything that you need.
