We have to be careful when we expect what we define as justice from man. We live in a fallen world that is ruled by the god of this world, the devil. See 2 Corinthians 4:4.  It was not God’s will for Trayvon to die at such a young age. He was supposed to live a long fruitful life and die empty, when he had completed the work that God called him to do on this earth. Anyone dying before the time of emptiness, fulfillment and completion is contrary to the Word of God. If you need more scripture here, please send me a note. See 3 John 2 as a starter. If God’s desire for you is to prosper and be in health, how do you get death out of that? And God didn’t need another angel. That’s not why Trayvon died or anyone else for that matter . . . no, that is not scriptural.

God had a plan for Trayvon and Trayvon will not get the chance to fulfill the call that God has on his life. John 10:10 teaches that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy . . . and through the enemy’s plans Trayvon has been killed and many lives destroyed.

So many did not hear the verdict that they expected to hear. Let’s look at this through the lens of the Word, the only way to really look at it. God who knows the end from the beginning knows how that night went down and if Zimmerman really is guilty. Do you know that it doesn’t make any difference what a judge and a jury of people say?  … and if he did do it and he doesn’t repent, do you really think that he is going to get off? Come on now! God is a God of love, but He is also is a God of justice. Romans 12:9 says vengeance belongs to the Lord. He will be the one to repay. Yes the Lord loves justice . . . and He is the one who will make the wrongs right. God will not see injustice continue. Understand that your definition of justice may not be His definition of justice. That can make you want to bring in justice of yourself . . . now you don’t need to go out and get in error here. Anytime the Lord says that He is going to do something, let Him do it . . . He told Abraham that he was going to make him the father of all nations through his wife Sarah and it didn’t come fast enough for Abraham so he went and got him a young fertile woman and had him a baby with her…all outside of God’s will, and he had to pay for the consequences of that action. Let God handle this and don’t get caught up trying to get justice for Trayvon on your own. What do I mean when I say let God handle this. That means be led by the Spirit of God as to what you should do concerning this situation. I can tell you one thing to do and that is pray for Trayvon and his family as well as Zimmerman and his. Follow the scriptures and follow God.  If you follow what God tells you to do, heaven will back you up and you will have good success. Anything else is part of the plan of the enemy to destroy you. Don’t expect justice from man. Expect all things to work together for good for them that love God and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

God is the judge and if there is guilt, He will determine it . . . and also just because there may be repentance for a sin, does not mean there is no consequence for it. What do I mean by this? If you steal a car, get caught and ask God to forgive you . . . He will forgive you, but you still have to face the charges for stealing the car, and that may mean time in prison, time away from your family, a prison record and other negative consequences.

Let’s conclude by looking at some scriptures that talk about God being a God of justice.

Zechariah 7:9
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.”

Ezekiel 34:15-16
I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign LORD. I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.

Acts 17:30-32

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.”

If you want to know about the judgement of God, you should spend time studying the book of Revelation. I am going through it again now. We welcome your feedback and comments.
