“Good ole days”

Have you and your spouse ever sat down and talked about the “good ole days”?  Have you fallen on hard times and things just  don’t seem to be as good as they used to . . . less money, less loving, more bills, more frustrations.  In times like these you have to be very careful about talking about good old days past. When you do this you are telling God that He doesn’t have even better days for your future. He actually does and you should confess that!  Jeremiah 29:11 says that He has an expected end for you. That end that He expects you to get to is completing the work that He called you to do in the provision and grace that He has provided. Your confession should be that you are getting better and better and that your relationships are getting stronger and stronger as you draw closer and closer to Christ. Have a blessed night and don’t use the phrase ‘good ole days” anymore. Change it out for “the best is yet to come!”
