You have to cut it back so it will produce more

I have been thinking about John 15 and there are a couple of points that I want to make concerning this scripture. Branches that do not bear fruit are cut off.  That means that they are no longer part of the vine. Branches that do bear fruit are pruned so that they will bear more fruit. The lesson in this for us is that sometimes you have to be cut back some in order to produce more fruit. That means you may have to give up something to grow, for example, selling your car, selling your home and moving to another city, sacrificing to start a new business. Bottom line is that in order for there to be new and more growth, there has to be some pruning. If you want it go grow, cut it back!
