Sometimes staying focused is challenging. Distractions come in all sizes, shapes and forms to get our attention away from where it is supposed to be. A distraction can be anything from unwelcomed noises to random thoughts or ideas. I Corinthians 15:58 teaches that we should be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.  Being steadfast and unmoveable means not being distracted while you are abounding in the work of the Lord.  A key word in this scripture is “be”. This small two letter word means that we have the choice to either be steadfast and unmoveable, or we can “not be” steadfast and unmoveable; which means we are not holding on and are easily moved.  Sometimes we think that distractions won’t come. We think that we won’t have to be concerned about being distracted. Distractions are going to come. We just have to decide that we are not going to allow them to distract us. Stay focused and work the work God has given you to do. Don’t let distractions keep you from the blessings of God!
